PazStone Environmental Policy

It is our policy:

• to comply with current legislation and industry Codes of Practice and actively support the Environmental Agencies in implementing any improvements;
• to address the concerns of all interested parties by assessing, monitoring and, where possible, reducing to a minimum the impact of our activities on the local and general environment;
• to ensure all management and staff, along with suppliers and subcontractors, continually strive to improve environmental performance;
• to monitor all emissions from our site to minimize the impact on the environment and our neighbors;
• to develop and implement systems that are able to detect, and where possible, prevent environmental incidents; and
• to conform to the contractual requirements imposed by the client.

Water

At PazStone the environment is important to us, as a result all water used in our manufacturing plant is 100% recycled, using the latest water treatment systems.

We have also participated in the Save Water Support 155 Business Program run by City West Water. https://www.citywestwater.com.au/business/support_155.aspx

Timber, Cardboard, Stone & General Waste

As part of the manufacturing process we encounter a wide variety of waste products. Accordingly, all waste is separated into four categories. Cardboard, Timber & Stone are all sent away for recycling.

PazStone also supplies offcuts of stone to the Homesglen Tafe to assist in the training of new stonemasons.

In addition as part of the CaesarStone Global Recycling Program, certain stone material is further separated into colours and then shipped back to the manufacturing plant for reuse in new product lines. (Click on the image to enlarge)
